e-Commerce Gateway–EDI Edition dials your customer or commercial EDI network hours before your staff arrives at work and retrieves the EDI data waiting in the mailboxes. The module verifies the data and creates the appropriate Solomon transaction for processing—all without any manual intervention or data entry. Once the transaction processing is completed in Solomon, EDI Edition retrieves the transaction information, creates the outbound EDI documents and transmits them electronically to the appropriate destination.

EDI Edition includes EDI/EDGE from DNS Worldwide, an easy-to-use EDI translation product that provides scheduled dial-up, data communications, EDI compliance checking, and EDI data translation. If you prefer, you can use EDI Edition with your choice of EDI translation software.
